Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, Certified Clinical Sexologist, Cultural Studies Specialist

   In my work, I combine psychotherapeutic methods with clinical sexology. Human sexuality is a complex and deeply influential aspect of daily life. That’s why I take a holistic approach to sexual dysfunction—exploring not only biological and relational factors but also underlying personality development. Likewise, when addressing more “typical” psychological difficulties, I incorporate insights from psychosexual development.

I work with adult individuals and couples, both in Polish and English.

Areas of focus:

• Communication, personal development, social competence, decision-making difficulties, romantic and social relationship issues, personality disorders
• Decreased or lost sexual desire, aversion to sex, orgasm or penetration difficulties, painful intercourse, premature or delayed ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, sexual mismatch in couples, unrecognized sexual needs

   I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from SWPS University and completed the full training in psychotherapy at the Laboratory of Psychoeducation in Warsaw. I also earned a postgraduate degree in Clinical Sexology (CKP SWPS) and am a certified clinical sexologist (certificate no. 124) with the Polish Sexological Society, of which I have been a member since 2007.

   My expertise has been enriched by extensive training in couples therapy at the Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, workshops led by certified sexologists from the Polish Sexological Society, and courses at the Postgraduate Medical Education Center in Warsaw. I also hold a degree in Cultural Studies from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

   Professionally, I have over 16 years of experience in private psychotherapeutic and sexological practice. I previously worked at the Sexology and Psychotherapy Unit of the 2nd Psychiatric Clinic at the Medical University of Warsaw, where I provided therapy for adults facing sexual dysfunctions and relationship crises. I also performed forensic sexology evaluations at the same clinic. My clinical training includes internships at the Mazovian Specialized Health Center in Pruszków and the Academic Center for Psychotherapy and Psychological Counseling at SWPS University.

   Additionally, I have served as a lecturer at the Medical University of Warsaw and SWPS University, and I have collaborated with the Center for Family and Children’s Rights as a psychologist and sexologist.
